Parent/Family Coaching

Dubbed a family peacemaker for her ability to ease family conflict and bring people closer together, Sarah’s best known for her TV series ‘My Teen’s A Nightmare – I’m Moving Out’.

I help parents and young people move away from problems and into the world of successful living. I am a youth expert and teen success coach and my clients have dubbed me the ‘family peacemaker’. It’s inevitable that all families experience teen-related issues from time to time. I’m here to allow everyone concerned to navigate these sometimes stormy years more enjoyably

The teenage years can be confusing, worrying and downright frustrating for everyone – parents and teenagers alike. My skills help put parents back in charge using simple, everyday solutions that keep relationships intact. I work from an authentic, compassionate and loving approach – I am not here to blame anyone, or to shame anyone into ‘changing their ways’. Instead I start from the belief that the teenage years can be enjoyable and that every parents wants the very best relationship possible with their teenager. I bring humour, warmth, and a genuine passion into everything I do.

Over the years I have honed and refined my methods and you’ll find my approach is totally unique. I have successfully eased family conflicts, brought families closer together and tremendously improved parent/teen relationships. As well as the family peacemaker, many clients have called me a ‘lifeline’.

“You would be happy to hear – that hourly conversation has changed everything for us!

By changing my approach there has been no major issues with my son!  I only had to use the first step of the four step method as he would respond well to me pointing out that he is shouting or getting stressed unnecessarily! But I also know it will only work if I don’t shout either, and so far I have managed that most of the time… Amazing what influence we parents have no them and how MUCH we are to blame!!

Yesterday I came home to find all washing up done, trash taken out and tea waiting for me! I didn’t even ask, and it seems he does know what he has to do and the less I ask the more he does!

Many thanks for this enlighten session. It has totally changed our life at home. ”

“I had cause to ask Sarah for some help in what I saw as a downward spiralling situation with my almost 16 year old daughter.  I knew the answer lay with me, but for the life of me, I couldn’t work out what it was I could do to be the mother I wanted to be.  I thought all avenues were closed and there were only dead ends.  With kindness and distance, Sarah spotted exactly what it was that was required – and I hit my forehead with my hand in a real ‘duh’ moment.  I’m eternally grateful to you Sarah.  So simple, so obvious and so out of sight.  The love that I’ve not known how to show is now flowing again.’  Jackie Walker

“I’ve enjoyed the journey of developing parenting my teenagers. I was finding it difficult to get what I needed as a mum, while ensuring that I fulfilled my duties as a parent. I’ve gained a new balance” of being able to meet my own needs and meet my children’s needs without feeling guilty about taking time for myself. I have learnt to add the word respect to my acknowledgement of others. It’s been great to have the support of Sarah, and the framework to move in, which I surely would have lost track of if Sarah had not been there as my coach.
