I remember how confusing it was when I started as a coach, I wasn’t sure what to do, how to build my business or even how to explain what I did.
When I started out 17 years ago there wasn’t any of the advice that there is out there now. When I started all you had was your wits, your intuition and an inclination of how you might enjoy telling people what you do – I actually think that’s a better way to build your business.
That is what I want to help you do. I want to help you connect into your own abilities, understand your unique talents and figure out your own way of doing things, your own way of building your business.
It can be so confusing, with people telling you what you should be doing, what you must be doing and how they did it, you can be left wondering:
- Am I doing everything wrong?
- What’s the next step?
- Is this the right way to do it?
- Is this going to work?
And often you feel so overwhelmed by all the things you are supposed to do that you get paralysed and you don’t do anything.
The fact is that there are coaches out there like you who aren’t helping people, don’t know the next step and are so confused that they’re chasing their tails trying to do anything and everything, makes me sad.
I want to help you find what’s unique about you, what makes you the best and most ideal coach for your clients and to help you message that in a way that helps you understand your value and helps the clients want to hire you.
I see it as the difference between Buzz and Woody in Toy Story.
If you think of Buzz Lightyear, he knew exactly who he was, he knew exactly what he stood for and he didn’t falter, even when everybody else told him he was wrong he kept a clear vision and believed it.
On the other hand Woody was very unclear, was very unsure and changed dramatically when this new threat came into his life. He felt like he needed to change, he felt like he needed to do something different to get the attention he craved.
I want you to be Buzz Lightyear and not Woody. I want you to stand strong in who you are and what you believe in and not be tempted to run around and do other things because it looks like a good idea or because other people are telling you to, or because that’s how someone else does it. I want you to be so solid in your value and who you are that you are unstoppable and immovable.
And I want to do that based on factual information (I can’t help being an ex police-officer). I want evidence, I don’t want to think who you are, I don’t want what someone else said you are. I want the real hard facts – that’s how we’re going to do this.

This program is really simple and involves you taking the most amazing ability test that I’ve ever taken, and I have taken every single one in my 17 years of running my business. You’ll take the test and then we have a really in-depth conversation about what that means for you and your business and if you want to take that a little bit further there is an option that allows you to add on another four hours of time with me, so I can really nail down what this means for you and your business, your coaching and your messaging.
It is simple; not easy but simple.
When you know what you’re great at, when you know the value you bring, the uniqueness that is you, it gets so much easier to market and promote what you’re selling.
At the moment my business has been running for 17 years. When I started out nobody was doing what I was doing. I think the fact that I am still here shows that I’ve got some kind of recipe going on here that has worked. I am not going to tell you how to build your business; I am not going to tell the absolute thing that you should do next, because I believe you know that. What I am going to help you do is truly understand yourself so you can feel confident in the decisions you make and get a little bit more courageous and brave to take some of the actions that you want to take.
You know what? You do matter; you have something unique to offer and you are different than every other person out there doing what you’re doing.
I believe this program will give you the confidence in yourself that you may be slightly lacking, I believe it will give you the courage that you need to do the very brave things that you can do, even if you are a teeny bit scared, and I think it will give you the clarity that you need in your own unique value.
It is really possible to build a great business for yourself in this field; it takes hard work, it takes persistence, it takes continuous action but it is absolutely possible. It’s possible to do that without listening to what everybody else is doing or saying and it is possible to do in a way that just feels so aligned with you that you are on fire every time you get up in the morning.
That is what I want for you right now. I want you to wake up tomorrow and know how important your work is in the world. I just want you to wake up with the confidence in yourself and the clarity in your convictions.
How does it work?
I made this quite easy and simple to understand. There are two options, both options include the Highlands Ability Battery and I have put a video below so you can see how an ability pattern relates to a coaching business and why that’s beneficial.
When you take the test you also get a really detailed report about your abilities and what they mean to you, included in both programs. Also included is two hours on the phone with me, where I go through your abilities and we look at what they mean for your business. You also get an added extra month after your feedback to send me any quick questions you have about the Ability Battery and how it can be applied to your business. The cost of this is £450.
If you think you might want some more support then there is another option that includes four extra hours with me on the phone or Skype, where we can really look at your calling, your messaging, how you want to get this stuff out into the world. The cost of that is £800.
I would say if you just need a teeny bit of help, a little bit of direction and to get a clearer on your value, then the first option is perfectly fine. If you are having problems with your messaging and are not really sure how to talk about your value then the second option would be much better for you because we can go into much more detail.

‘Doing the highlands with Sarah was hugely reassuring for me. I was coaching young people in a school and within the hairdressing industry, but had been feeling disillusioned about how I could move forward, something did not feel right but I wasn’t sure what, I always spend time thinking about the things others are doing within the coaching industry and feeling less than. I wasn’t sure which way to turn! I was stuck . The programme helped me by highlighting my natural abilities, it helped me focus on what I am good at so supported me to take some action in a different direction to grow my business towards my strengths.
